Introduction
We do all we can to be welcoming and accepting of everyone and are commited to being accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We work diligently to help ensure that this website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.
Accessibility On This Website
This website is built and tested by hand, page by page, with a keyboard and with the JAWS and NVDA screen readers on computers and VoiceOver and TalkBack on phones and tablets, the same tools many people who are blind or have low vision use every day. It is designed to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2, Level AA), which also covers WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard the U.S. Department of Justice adopted for government websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). It is also designed to meet Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. We do not use accessibility overlays or widgets, because they do not make a website accessible.
